MENDHAR, Sept 16: People from Galuta area of tehsil Mendhar held protest against the PHE authorities for not providing drinking water to the public.
The residents from Mohalla Bandian in Galuta area came out on the road and held protest for about an hour. They alleged that several PHE pipes are broken. There is massive water leakage and the concerned authorities have miserably failed to provide water supply.
They shouted slogans against PHE AEE, Executive Engineer PHE Poonch and Chief Engineer Jammu. The people alleged that they have been made to suffer for the last one month and PHE authorities failed to provide water. After protest, they dispersed.
