Protests against Pak troops in Reasi, Rajouri

JAMMU, Jan 11: Several political and social organizations today held protest demonstrations at Reasi, Jammu and Rajouri against Pakistan for beheading two Indian soldiers on patrol along the LoC in Poonch sector.
Activists of BJP led by district president Reasi, Ajay Nanda assembled at Chowk Chabutra in the town and then started protest demonstration towards Bus Stand. The protesters were shouting slogans against Pakistan and its army. They also burnt the effigy Pakistan and demanded stern action against that country.
On reaching Bus Stand Mr Nanda and some other leaders addressed the gathering and demanded direct action against the Pakistani troops. They demanded that cowardice act of Pakistani forces be condemned by the world community and that that country should be isolated.
Another protest demonstration was held at main chowk Rajouri by members of all the communities. The members from various social organizations assembled in the main market during the day and staged protest against Pakistani troops. They condemned the action of Pak troops and raised anti-Pak slogans.
Meanwhile, activists of Shiv Sena led by its leader Ashok Gupta and Dogra Front held separate protest demonstrations here today. They also took out protest rally in the old city and strongly condemned the barbaric killings of two Indian soldiers on guard duty along the LOC in Mendhar sub sector. They raised anti-Pak slogans and demanded direct action against that country.
Former MLA and senior BJP leader Ch Pyara Singh also condemned the killings of Indian soldiers by Pak troops inside the Indian territory and criticized the Central leadership for weak policies. In a press statement, Mr Singh described the incident as most barbaric and said that it amounts to aggression by Pak troops. He said the Government of India must take serious note of it.
