RAJOURI, June 11: Demanding arrest of Nupur Sharma and Naveen Jindal over their alleged remark on Prophet Mohammad, peaceful bandh was observed in Rajouri, Thannamandi, Darhal and Manjakote areas.
During the bandh, peaceful protest marches were also organized. The protesting people demanded action against suspended BJP functionaries over their alleged remarks against the Prophet.
A strong protest in Bufliaz was led by the local Imam. Hundreds of people took to the streets protesting against the controversial remarks against Prophet Muhammad.
