In many places in the areas of the Pakistan Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (POJK) that are still under the illegal occupation of Pakistan, the people of Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir who resides there have come on the roads and strongly objected to the Pakistani establishment over distressing regulations, inflation and unjust taxes imposed by the Pakistan administration. This is not the first time that the people of Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir in POJK have come on the roads, but they have been continuously agitating against the Pakistani establishment for their brutalities against innocent people and grave human rights violations against these helpless people who reside in the areas of POJK. A large number of social activists who have strongly opposed the harshness of the Pakistani establishment have already been detained by the army and other ancillary agencies in Pakistan. The people who live in those parts of the Pakistan Occupied Jammu and Kashmir are currently so fed up with Pakistan that they have frequently demonstrated against it and said they would rather join India. Once again, a large number of people have taken to the streets to voice their strong opposition to the Policies of the Pakistani establishment. The locals are protesting against the various human rights violations, brutality of the Pakistani army, terrorism, and arrests of several social activists who raised their voices against the Pakistani establishment as well as against the supreme commanders of the terrorist organisations who forcibly involved innocent youth to take part in terrorist activities in Jammu and Kashmir. The detained social activists have been highlighting the alarming situation in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, emphasising the lack of peace, progress, and prosperity. The supreme commanders of the terrorists and their organisations are not only forcing the youth of POJK to participate in terror activities but also forcing them to build more terror camps for imparting training to the terrorists. It is a well-known fact that Pakistan, which has occupied Jammu and Kashmir since 1947, is a safe haven for terrorists as well as for other most wanted criminals and fugitives who are on the wanted list of the Bharat.
People in Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir, are now realising that there is no peace, progress, or prosperity due to the presence of the Pakistani army and other ancillary agencies, including terrorists. In the recent protests, the people of Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir highlighted their atrocities through social media platforms because media coverage is completely prohibited and not allowed due to exerted pressure by the Pakistani establishment, women, children, and senior citizens are among the many members of the society who are participating in the protests in POJK. They are demonstrating their outrage, deep resentment, and shock at these atrocities by blocking the highways. The social activists have highlighted why there is no peace and progress in POJK.
Why is there no prosperity in Gilgit-Baltistan? If the people of the neighbouring country i.e Bharat are enjoying the same and we are also the same people, we were also once part of the then erstwhile State of Jammu and Kashmir. This is what the tortured people say; now everything is beyond their tolerance, and they want to merge with Bharat. On the other hand, there is a national stance on the matter of the areas of Jammu and Kashmir being illegally occupied by Pakistan. The Indian Parliament has adopted a unified stance, backing all major political parties in the country. Indians maintain a united stand on POJK, believing that no compromise will ever be made. The ground situation in Jammu and Kashmir has now changed even after the proxy war by Pakistan, and after the reorganisation of the erstwhile State of Jammu and Kashmir, the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir is on the path of peace, progress, prosperity, and inclusive development. The people of Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir want to merge with Bharat. This is an appropriate time for the Bharat to retake the territories that Pakistan has been illegally occupying since 1947.
