JAMMU, June 1: Provincial Electrical Employees Union held a meeting, which was chaired by PC Sharma, provincial president.
During the meeting, the participants expressed resentment against the Government for not fulfilling the demands of the PDD employees.
While speaking, PC Sharma said that the Government is not serious to redress the issues of the PDD employees.
“If the Government will not redress the problems of the PDD employees at the earliest, then they will launch a crusade against the Government and for any untoward incident, the Government will be responsible”, Sharma warned.
He demanded insurance scheme for all PDD employees and daily wagers, regularization of daily wagers, who have completed seven years of service with preview of concrete policy, arrangement of special training course for all executive employees and provision of three years diploma course in engineering for technicians on departmental expenses and reorganization of the department with creation of sufficient posts.
Sharma also demanded release of technical grade in favour of all ITI and non ITI including line man, implementation of welfare schemes and risk allowance.
The meeting, which was organised by Davinder Sharma, district president was attended by Hardarshan Singh, Shiv Charan Singh, Yash Paul Raina, Suresh Kumar Sharma, Vinod Gupta, Gopal Goswami, Puran Chand, Mohd Salim, etc.
