PRP to expose politicians who looted State: Mir

SRINAGAR, Dec 1: J&K Peoples Republican Party (PRP) candidate from Chadura in Budgam district, Ghulam Mohammed Hamdarad a Trade Union leader held massive election rallies in his Constituency today to garner vote and support of the people.
The rallies were held at Chadura, Kralpora and Wathura. They were also addressed by Mir Ghulam Rasool spokesperson of the Party and candidate from Ganderbal Assembly segment.
While Mr Hamdarad highlighted the policies and programmes of the Party which he said has jumped the poll fray to expose all those political parties which misled the innocent people of the State for their vested interests and divided the people on the name of region, religion and caste.
He said the people were betrayed by successive governments in the State and instead of solving the problems of common masses they remained busy in amassing wealth and looting the State. Ignoring Chadura in development is a testimony to same, he added.
Mir Ghulam Rasool in his address while appreciating the steps taken by the Union Government led by Narendra Modi to weed out corruption from the country, said for the first time in the history of State a former Minister was punished for the corrupt practices. He said people in the State who have been cheated and looted by the successive governments will not be satisfied till all those leaders who loot and plunder are punished.
He said, while Nehru dynasty ruled at Centre by exploiting the people the Abdullah and Mufti dynasties ruled in the State by adopting the same tactics. It was due to the wrong polices of these parties that the youth of State took to arms, he added.
He said these parties were responsible for mass exodus of Pandits who were part and parcel of Kashmir’s composite culture. Mir said the people of the State need better facilities and basic amenities of life but they were misled by the traditional political parties for their vested interests.
