SRINAGAR, Nov 21: People’s Republic Party (PRP) candidate from prestigious Ganderbal Constituency, Mir Ghulam Rasool continued his whirlwind campaign and addressed many public meetings at Sadpora, Batpora, Butwani, Bihama Chowk Ganderbal and Migrant Colony Tulmulla and appealed people to vote in his favour for a better future.
Mir, while highlighting the policies and programmes of his Party said that restoration of total peace will be the priority of PRP so that every one feels secure.
He said 25 years turmoil has given a serious jolt to the State and economy suffered a lot. Besides there was a huge loss of human lives and communities were divided.
He said if elected his priority will be to work for restoration of total peace and brotherhood in the State, rid State of corruption and corrupt elements who looted it over the years.
He said the PRP will join hands with those forces who will work for promotion of secular values and traditional brotherhood in Kashmir and give a responsive administration to the people so that no body is deprived of justice and feels neglected.
He said PRP will also work for strengthening of democratic institutions like Panchayats and local bodies to take power at the door steps of the people. Mir said people have tested NC, Congress and PDP and their leaders deceived the masses and were busy in massing wealth so they should now try PRP which champions the cause of poor, down-trodden and working class.
