PRP’s concern over power crisis in Ganderbal

SRINAGAR, Jan 12: Peoples Republican Party (PRP) in a meeting at Ganderbal today expressed grave concern over power crisis being faced by the people of the entire district during this Cold Winter.
The meeting which was chaired by district president PRP, Abdul Razak Dar and in which the State president of the Party, Mir Ghulam Rasool was special invitee said despite having three power projects the Ganderbal district is facing worst power crisis at present.
The meeting said that in this biting cold the people have been put to miseries due to power crisis especially during night hours and the authorities at the helm of affairs are unmoved.
The meeting turned the attention of District Development Commissioner Ganderbal towards the problem and urged him to prevail upon the concerned authorities to improve the power supply failing which the people will come to streets.
The meeting also expressed concern over the lack of proper medicare facilities in the district and said 70 posts are vacant in Health Department in the district. Besides, there are also no medicines available in the district hospitals and dispensaries without which alone CMO or concerned BMOs can’t do any thing in providing best medicare facilities to people though they are trying at their level best.
