JAMMU, Dec 30: The Jammu Chapter of the Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) held a meeting today at the Press Club Jammu, where new members were inducted and future plans were discussed, including the participation in Media Chaupal 2025.
Prof Anil Saumitra, Chairperson of PRSI J&K, highlighted the importance of strengthening the chapter’s presence and providing exposure to members.
A team of executive and other members will represent PRSI Jammu at Media Chaupal 2025 in Prayagraj, scheduled for February 2025.
The event, organized by PRSI, will offer networking opportunities and bring together students, professionals, and academicians from the media field.
In addition to Media Chaupal, PRSI Jammu will collaborate with the University of Jammu, Central University of Jammu, Press Club Jammu, and the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Jammu, for future events.
The meeting was attended by Dr Archana Kumari, Preeti Choudhary, Dr Ramiyan Bhardwaj, Upendra Sharma, Kumerjit Chajgotra, Komal Shangloo, Hiya Aneja, Dharmendra Kohli, and Nikta.
