JAMMU, July 19: A Public Safety Act (PSA) detainee was attacked and injured inside Central Jail at Kot Bhalwal here today.
As per police sources, a PSA detainee namely Davinder Kumar alias Rahul, son of Darshan Lal of Chak Mohd Yar RS Pura was attacked and injured by his rival (PSA detainee) along with his associates over some old enmity inside Central Jail at Kot Bhalwal.
The injured has been hospitalised and his condition was stated to be out of danger, when last reports came in.
However, a case under relevant sections has been registered at Police Station Gharota and investigation started.
