PSA holds meet, highlights grievances

JAMMU, Aug 30: A meeting of Private Schools’ Association (PSA) was held at Shakti Shiksha Kendra Higher Secondary School Marh (Jammu) to highlight their grievances.
Director of School Education, HR Pakhru was the chief guest where as president, PSA, Kamal Gupta presided over the function.
Apart from large number of Private School members from Marh, Balwal and Akhnoor, the members of executive bodies of District Udhampur, Reasi, Samba and Jammu also participated in the meeting and highlighted the problems being faced by Private schools regarding admission, counter signature of result of private schools by the concerned CEOs/ZEOs of Jammu province.
The Director appreciated the efforts of Private schools to bring 100% literacy in rural areas and assured private school owners especially those whose cases upto 8th standard are pending in Director of School Education Jammu for speedy disposal of their files.
He also said that he will circulate simple and uniform nomenclature for the counter signature of result of private schools by the concerned CEOs/ZEO’s of Jammu province in the couple of days.
Prominent who spoke on the occasion were Kamal Gupta, Ajay Gupta, Zubeda Akhter, Kiran Raina, K S Jamwal, Ajay Kotwal and Satpal Khajuria.
