JAMMU, Apr 20: A hardcore criminal involved in over half dozen cases registered with different police stations has been detained under the stringent Public Safety Act (PSA).
As per police sources, a notorious criminal identified as Tajinder Singh alias Jinda, son of Darshan Singh, a resident of Ward Number 4, Simbal Camp, Miran Sahib has been detained under stringent PSA by District Magistrate (DM) Jammu Simranjeet Singh.
The accused was involved in over half dozen criminal cases registered with different police stations including Miran Sahib.
After slapping of PSA, he has been lodged in jail.
The notorious criminal was arrested by a team led by SHO Miran Sahib police station SI Hilal Azhar under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Harjeet Singh and SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal.
