PSA slapped on hardcore criminal

JAMMU, Oct 5: District Magistrate Jammu has slapped Public Safety Act (PSA) on a hardcore criminal.
As per reports, DM Jammu slapped PSA on a hardcore criminal involved in 6 cases registered with Police Station RS Pura.
The accused has been identified as Sunil Kumar alias Gokul, son of Tarsem Lal, a resident of Chak Aslam Tehsil RS Pura District Jammu.
As the accused was involved in number of attempt to murder cases, snatching and illegal possession of the arms cases, his presence in the society was quite dangerous for peace loving inhabitants of the area. Keeping into consideration the above mentioned facts, the dossier was prepared and submitted to District Magistrate Jammu.
The PSA warrant was executed after making hectic efforts and the criminal has been lodged at Central Jail, Kot Bhalwal Jammu.
The warrant was executed by police party headed by SI Ved Parkash under the supervision of SHO RS Pura Inspector Bishnesh Kumar, SDPO RS Pura Sourabh Prashar, SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
