JAMMU, Dec 5: A notorious criminal was today detained by RS Pura police under Public Safety Act after the directions of District Magistrate Jammu.
The criminal was identified as Sunny Kumar son of Jager Ram, a resident of Ward No 4, RS Pura. He was involved in four different criminal cases in RS Pura. Three different FIRs including FIR No 174/14 under Section 307/34/147/149/120B 4/25 A Act; FIR no 43/15 under Section 307/147/148/149 RPC, 4/25 A Act and FIR No 138/15 under Section 366/109 RPC stands registered against him in police station RS Pura.
He was wanted since March 13, 2015 and was arrested on October 18, 2015 by a police team headed by SHO RS Pura, Inspector Bhushan Manhas, under the supervision of SDPO, RS Pura, Harjeet Singh, SP Headquarters, Randheer Singh and SSP Jammu, Uttam Chand.
