PSA takes up issues with DSE

JAMMU, July 28: Private Schools Association led by its president Kamal Gupta met Director School Education HR Pakhroo and apprised him about the problems being faced by the private schools.
While speaking, Gupta said that for the conformation/countersignature of results of private schools all CEOs/ZEOs of Jammu province should be given relevant directions to avoid the harassment of private schools functioning in semi urban, rural and far flung areas.
He added that all CEOs/ZEOs adopt their own nomenclature for the conformation/countersignature of results of private schools.
Mushrooming of the private schools should be checked, he said, adding that the schools running without permission/ recognition or running additional classes illegally without providing healthy infrastructure to the students should be closed.
Ajay Gupta, State coordinator, PSA urged the Director HR Pakhroo to bring a fruitful result of the report submitted by the committee constituted by the Government to examine the various issues related to private schools of entire State. He also demanded immediate disposal of pending files up to middle standard.
Director HR Pakhroo assured the members that he will look into the grievances of private schools to sort out the problems by taking the executive members of PSA in confidence.
