JAMMU, Oct 29: Pahari Speaking Lawyer Forum (PSLF) held a meeting under the chairmanship of advocate Wajahat Kazmi and discussed the problems being faced by Pahari speaking people in present era.
While speaking advocate Zahid Sarfraz said that the forum will support only those candidates for Assembly and Parliamentary election, who will fight for the cause of Pahari people and will work for their upliftment. He also asked the Government to implement the decision of reservation to Pahari speaking people at the earliest.
While speaking advocate Abrar Khan talked about the deteriorating condition of Pahari hostels and delay in the construction of pahari hostels at Jammu.
Due representation should be given to Pahari speaking elected MLAs as they belong to the similar cross section of society, he added.
