PSS RS Pura holds literary meet

JAMMU, Aug 20: Punjabi Sahitak Sabha (PSS), RS Pura organized a literary meeting today at the residence of SR S Broca, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Well known Punjabi writers and poets of Jammu and Kashmir attended the meeting. President of Punjabi Lekhak Sabha and well known writer, producer and director presided over the meeting whereas Prit Pal Singh Betab (IAS and noted Ghazal writer) was the chief guest on the occasion.
Noted poet and writer Dr Nirmal Vinod was the special guest while Harjit Singh Uppal (president, PSS RS Pura) also shared the dais. The programme was hosted by SR S Broca.
While expressing his views on the presentation and conduct of the literary meeting of PSS, Dr Baljeet Singh Raina gave his impressions on the poems recited by the poets in the meeting. In his address, Prit Pal Singh Betab appreciated the participation of young generation in the upliftment of the Punjabi literary pursuits. Dr Nirmal Vinod also expressed their views on this occasion.
Earlier, Harjit Singh Uppal welcomed the guests and participants of the programme. The poets who recited their poems in the meeting include Harjit Singh Uppal, Dr Baljeet Singh Raina, Dr Nirmal Vinod, JPS Azad, Pritam Singh Anjaan, Balwinder Singh Deep, Amarjeet Kour Neer, Balwinder Singh Jammu, Suraj Ratan Bakshi, M S Kaamra, Bachan Bharti, Pyasa Anjum, Kulbhushan Atri and Suraj Singh Suraj.
Dr Monojit and others were also present in the meeting. The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Harjit Singh Uppal and the proceedings were recorded by Jasmeet Singh.
