PTTI Vijaypur celebrates Raising Day of J&K Police

SAMBA, June 12: Police Technical Training Institute (PTTI) Vijaypur celebrated Raising Day of J&K Police with great enthusiasm.

On the occasion, Principal PTTI Vijaypur, Shiv Kumar (SSP) addressed staff and trainees and threw light on the history of J&K Police. He also interacted with staff and trainees. A cultural programme was also organized in which besides musical party, Police trainees of the Institute also displayed their talent by presenting various solo/group patriotic/folk songs which enthralled the audience.
Besides this, a ‘Shabeel’ was also organized as a goodwill gesture on Gurha-Slathia road in front of the Institute and cold and sweet drinking water was offered to the road users and locals of the area. The PTTI complex was well decorated and was giving an attractive look. At last, a lavish ‘Bada Khana’ was also hosted for guests, police personnel and trainees of the Institute.
The occasion was also graced by Rakesh Dubey (Additional Deputy Commissioner, Samba), Vinay Kumar (SDM Vijaypur), Ex-Principals of the Institute– Rajneesh Pran and Bhopinder Singh, Rajinder Singh Rahi, (Deputy CO IRP-19th Battalion), Prof J Jagannathan, (HoD, National Security Studies, Central University of Jammu), Ajay Anand (Deputy SP DAR Samba) and Deepak Jasrotia (Deputy SP).
Among others, Zia-Ul-Haq, Deputy SP (Administration/ Outdoor), Kuldeep Raj (Indoor/ Tech) PTTI Vijaypur, Inspectors Asha Anand, Vishal Kumar, Kanwal Raina, Vivek Kalsotra, Mulk Raj, Bhopinder Singh, Tariq Mehmood, Anil Kumar, Pawan Kumar, Ram Lal, Himanshu Dutta, Rakesh Sharma and Sub Inspectors Sulinder Singh, Kapil Raina, Shakeel Singh and Narinder Kumar were also present on the occasion.
