Public meeting in Vijaypur

SAMBA, Oct 1: Indian National Congress, Vijaypur held a public meeting at Gurha Morh, Vijaypur under the leadership of senior Congress Leader and member JKPCC Arun Sharma.
Arun Sharma was the organizer of the function, which was attended by large number of congress workers, delegates and like minded people from 46 Panchayat Halqua in the constituency.
Several Panches, Sarpanches, Numberdars, Chowkidars and religious persons also took part in the meeting where in Congress party programmes and policies were highlighted.
On the occasion, party election central office was also opened at Gurha Morh, Vijaypur where all the information/directions will be conveyed to party workers.
While addressing the gathering, Arun exhorted the party workers to work hard for winning of Congress nominee who are local, popular party worker. He predicted that Ghulam Nabi Azad would be next CM of J&K. Mr. Sharma said that the Congress will not forgive those who had played role in fall of Azad led coalition Government in 2008. He also challenge the BJP dream mission 44+.
Senior party workers highlighted several local issues and alleged that the party workers discriminated by local MLA as well as administration of Samba District which are running one hand practice and only corruption are seen in every department. They appeal the party high command to immediately announce the party to announce local worker, honest, educated and energetic Congress candidate.
Among those who spoke were Bishamber Singh Slathia, Capt Baldev, Capt Bhalla, Capt Thoru Ram, Raj Kumar, Sub Ganesh Pati, Rajesh, Gulshan, Sumiter Singh, William Gill, Nazir Ahmad, Om Parkash Mahasha, Onkar Singh, Sardhari Lal, etc.
