Pulses end steady in thin trade

NEW DELHI, June 13:  Steady conditions prevailed at the wholesale pulses market today with prices moving in a narrow range in the absence of any worthwhile activity and settled around previous levels.
Traders said adequate stocks following improvement in supplies after the government decided to import lentils in large quantities mainly mainly kept prices steady.
Following are today’s pulse rates (in Rs per quintal):
Urad Rs 8,300-8,800, Urad Chilka (local) Rs 9,200-9,400, urad best Rs 9,400-10,000, Dhoya Rs 9,800-10,100, Moong Rs 7,050-7,750, Dal Moong Chilka local Rs 7,850-8,350, Moong Dhoya local Rs 7,850-8,150 and best quality Rs 8,650-8,750.
Masoor small Rs 6,650-6,750, bold Rs 6,650-6,850, Dal Masoor local Rs 7,700-7,800, best quality Rs 7,800-7,900, Malka local Rs 7,800-8,150, best Rs 7,900-8,200, Moth Rs 5,850-6,150, Arhar Rs 7300-7450, Dal Arhar Dara Rs 8,750-8,950.
