Pulses end steady in thin trade

NEW DELHI, Nov 5: Steady conditions prevailed at the wholesale market today as prices moved in a narrow range in scattered deals and settled around previous levels.

Marketmen said adequate stocks position against sporadic demand mainly kept prices at previous levels.

Following are today’s pulses rates (in Rs per quintal):

Urad Rs 7,000-8,000, Urad Chilka (local) Rs 7,300-7,400, Urad best Rs 7,400-7,900, Dhoya Rs 7,800-8,100, Moong Rs 5,100-5,700, Dal Moong Chilka local Rs 5,600-5,900, Moong Dhoya local Rs 6,200-6,700 and best quality Rs 6,700-6,900.
