Pulses end steady in thin trade

NEW DELHI, May 6:  Steady conditions prevailed at the wholesale pulses market in the national capital today with pries moving in a narrow range on alternate bouts of trading and settled at previous levels.
Traders said ample stocks position against sporadic demand mainly kept prices steady.
Following are today’s pulses rates (in Rs per quintal):
Urad Rs 5,200-6,600, Urad Chilka (local) Rs 5,600-5,700, Urad best Rs 5,700-6,200, Dhoya Rs 6,100-6,300, Moong Rs 4,800-5,000, Dal Moong Chilka local Rs 5,300-5,500, Moong Dhoya local Rs 5,900-6,400 and best quality Rs 6,400-6,600.
Masoor small Rs 4,100-4,400, bold Rs 4,150-4,500, Dal Masoor local Rs 4,600-5,100, best quality Rs 4,700-5,200, Malka local Rs 4,800-5,000, best Rs 4,900-5,100, Moth Rs 3,250-3,650, Arhar Rs 4,000, Dal Arhar Dara Rs 5,900-7,700.
