Pulses remain flat in thin trade

NEW DELHI, July 28: There was not much activity at the wholesale pulses market today with prices moving in a narrow range on little doing and settling at the last levels.
Marketmen said adequate stocks position restricted buying activity and kept prices at previous levels.
Following are today’s rates (in Rs per quintal): urad Rs 3,900-5,100, urad Chilka (local)  Rs 4,700-4,800, urad best Rs 4,800-5,300, Dhoya Rs 5,250-5,450, Moong Rs 5,000-5,500, Dal Moong Chilka local Rs 5,600-5,800, Moong Dhoya local Rs 6,200-6,700 and best quality Rs 6,700-6,900.
Masoor small Rs 3,850-4,150, bold Rs 3,900-4,200, Dal Masoor local Rs 4,500-4,900, best  quality  Rs 4,600-5,000, Malka local Rs 4,700-5,000, best Rs 4,800-5,100, Moth Rs 3,850-4,250, Arhar Rs 3,800 Dal Arhar Dara Rs 5,200-7,100.
Gram Rs 4,400-4,450, Gram dal (local) Rs 4,700-5,100, best quality Rs 5,100-5,200, Besan (35 kg), Shakti bhog Rs 1,980, Rajdhani Rs 1,980, Rajma Chitra Rs 6,250-8,450, Kabuli Gram small  Rs 5,000-5,800, Dabra Rs 2,700-2,800, imported Rs 4,700-5,100, Lobia Rs 3,400-3,600, Peas white Rs 3,700-3,750 and green     Rs 3,800-3,900.
