Pulses remain steady in restricted activity

NEW DELHI, June 22:  Quiet conditions continued to prevail on the wholesale pulses market today as most of pulses traded in a liimited range on some support and closed at unchanged note.
Traders said absence of worthwhile activity as demand from neighbouring states remained negligible due to heavy rains mainly kept prices unchanged.
The following were today’s pulses rates per quintal:
Urad 3,700-3,900, Urad Chilka (local) 4,550-4,900, best 5,000-5,500, Dhoya 5,500-5,700, Moong 5,100-5,500, Dal Moong Chilka local 5,600-6,000, Moong Dhoya local 5,750-5,850 and best quality 6,400-6,500.
Masoor small 4,200-4,400, bold 4,350-4,600, Dal Masoor local 4,900-5,000, best quality 4,970-5,070, Malka local 4,600-4,700, best 4,800-4,900, Moth 3,300-3,900, Arhar 4,200-4,600, Dal Arhar Dara 5,900-6,100.
Gram 3,150-3,900, Gram Dal (local) 3,800-3,900, best quality 3,920-4,020, Besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 1,570, Rajdhani 1,570, Rajmah Chitra 8,700-10,000, Kabli Gram small 3,700-5,700, dabra 2,700-2,800, imported 4,700-5,100; Lobia 3,500-4,900, Peas white 2,900-2,925 and green 3,000-3,150. (PTI)
