Pulses remain steady in thin trade

NEW DELHI, July 18:  Pulses by and large moved in a tight range in the absence of any worthwhile activity and settled at last levels in the wholesale market of the national capital today.
Traders said sufficient stocks against sporadic demand mainly kept prices around previous levels.
Following are today’s pulses rates (in Rs per quintal):
Urad Rs 7,850-8,250, Urad Chilka (local) Rs 8,650-8,850, urad best Rs 8,850-9,450, Dhoya Rs 9,250-9,550, Moong Rs 6,650-7,350, Dal Moong Chilka local Rs 7,450-7,950, Moong Dhoya local Rs 7,450-7,750 and best quality Rs 8,250-8,350.
Masoor small Rs 6,700-6,800, bold Rs 6,700-6,900, Dal Masoor local Rs 7,750-7,850, best quality Rs 7,850-7,950, Malka local Rs 7,800-8,150, best Rs 7,900-8,200, Moth Rs 5,550-5,850, Arhar Rs 7,400-7,550, Dal Arhar Dara Rs 8,800-9,000.
