JAMMU, Aug 1: The Industries Minister of the State of Punjab, Madan Mohan Mittal today met with the members of the Association of Industries (AOI) at Gangyal and discussed present scenario of industry in Punjab and J&K.
The Minister visited the office of AOI at Gangyal and an interactive meeting was organized with the members of the Association, where in a cordial manner the atmosphere of industry in Punjab and J&K was discussed.
The welcome address was presented by president of the Association, Balbir Kumar Gupta.
The office bearers of the Association presented the Minister a memento as a token of remembrance. In return, the Minister gave an open invitation to the industrialists of J&K to pay a visit to Punjab and have an interaction with the industrialists of Punjab, which he said can prove fruitful for the benefits of the industry and trade of both the States.
The Minister also apprised the members of the Association about the initiatives being taken by the Government of Punjab for the industrial sector.
