Punjab’s Housing Scheme offering freehold residential plots launched

CHANDIGARH, Aug 26: Despite the real estate sector facing a rough weather, Affordable housing is in demand and Punjab’s first affordable Housing Scheme approved with State Bank of India and Govt of Punjab was launched today.
The residents can apply from 80 to 120 sq yard plots in various categories at nominal booking amount of Rs 11,000 ( Refundable).
Vinay Kumar, Regional Manager of State Bank of India said during the launch that application forms of the Royal Estate Affordable Housing Scheme are available at more than 60 SBI branches across Punjab, Haryana, HP, J&K, Chandigarh and New Delhi for the convenience of general public.
“Increasing demand for affordable residential housing in real estate sector is coming up. By 2030 Indian real estate market is likely to be up to one lakh crore rupees.” said Neeraj Kansal from Royal Estate Affordable Housing.
Economically weaker section having income less than 3 lakh per annum; open/general category (Income less than 6 lakh per annum) and reserved categories including Govt/Semi Govt/Defence/Sports/Disabled/Persons settled abroad (No Income Criteria) are eligible to apply.
“Affordable Housing Scheme will have two tier security walled &gated community, in a safe environment, with boundary walls and an operational clubhouse with facilities like library, gym, yoga and 24 by 7 purified water supply, Theme Park . Strategically located close to International Airport, Atropolis & Aero city Royal Estate Affordable Housing Scheme offers the highest quality of life and design system with streamlined planning and architecture. The region is targeted by an increasing number of outsourcing IT companies and the telecom industry,” informed the representatives of Royal Estate Affordable Housing.
