JAMMU, Oct 11: The Union Ministry of Home Affairs has approved the assignment of Joint Secretary (Jammu and Kashmir division) to Ranjit Punjai, an IAS officer of 1991 batch.
Punjai is a Bihar cadre officer. However, he is yet to take charge of North Block.
He will assume the new assignment as soon as he takes the charge in the Ministry of Home Affairs.
