It will be a great service to the people of this State, particularly those living in remote areas of the country, if the Government provides ambulance facility at various hospitals.
Many patients requiring emergency medical aid can be saved if they are shifted in time to hospitals where adequate arrangements are available.
In villages, people find themselves in an embarrassing situation when they do not get any means to shift a patient to any other place. It has been observed that till arrangements to shift the patient are made, patient dies.
Like other hospital infrastructure, ambulance is an integral component of health delivery mechanism and can’t be ignored.
