JAMMU, Apr 13: On the occasion of Baisakhi, Purmandal- Uttarvahini Tirth Sewa Nayas released new Vikrmi calendar of dates , here today.
In the calendar, Hindu festivals and auspicious occasions have been prominently mentioned. According to Parshotam Dadhichi, Patron of the Tirth Sewa Nayas and President of Sanatan Dharma Sabha, all calendars should be in accordance with the Vikrmi year.
Talking to media persons on the occasion, Prof Chandermouli Raina, who has drafted the calendar, said that it was a new experiment of the Nayas and will greatly help the people.
President of the Nayas Suresh threw light on the activities of the Tirth Sewa Nayas while Maheshwar presented vote of thanks.
On the occasion, prominent members of Nayas, including Jawahar Lal Baru, Dr Anand Kishore, Pt Govindram and Subash were also present.
