JAMMU, Aug 10: Former Deputy Mayor, Purnima Sharma along with Parmodh Kapahi, District BJP president and Gopal Gupta, Chairman Swachh Bharat Committee of JMC here today started development works at Jeevan Shah Mohalla in Ward number 5.
Speaking on the occasion, Purnima said that nine years of PM Modi led BJP government remained the golden period for the nation.
She claimed that performance of the incumbent government speaks for itself and the BJP is all set to get a clear mandate for governing world’s largest democracy for the third consecutive term when next Parliamentary elections will take place.
Parmodh Kapahi while addressing the gathering asserted that J&K has been provided special focussed attention as it has just come out of over three decades of turmoil due to terrorism.
“During the last few years there were unprecedented developments on ground to ease the life of the people across this sensitive territory,” he maintained adding: “The completed and ongoing developmental projects bears testimony to government’s commitment to equitable development in J&K.”
Manav Gupta, Anu Gupta, Rajesh Gupta, Subash Gupta, Master Jia Lal, Ram Lubhaya, Chaman and others were also present on the occasion.
