JAMMU, Dec 30: Spokesperson BJP J&K and former Deputy Mayor, Purnima Sharma has flayed NC Government for its failure to create a robust health infrastructure in J&K.
Addressing a press conference here today Purnima lambasted NC Government for resorting to mere suspensions of health officials by the Health Minister. “What J&K urgently need is a well-structured and robust health infrastructure to cater to the medical requirements of the citizens,” she claimed questioning the NC leadership about whereabouts of State Health Policy, which was promised in election manifesto of NC.
“Despite the passage of two months, the NC Government has failed to take even a single step towards fulfilling the promises it made during elections,” Purnima said.
She advised the NC government to make functional Mohalla Clinics and equip them with basic healthcare services.
“This will ensure that people do not have to rush to GMC Jammu for their basic health needs,” the BJP leader further said.
She also urged the NC Government to prioritize the establishment of trauma centers at district level.
J&K BJP spokesperson, Balbir Ram Rattan and Media Secretary, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra were also present in the press conference.
