JAMMU, Nov 28: Some unidentified persons on a motorcycle snatched the purse of a lady in Digiana area, falling under the jurisdiction of Satwari police station.
As per police sources, some unidentified persons on a motorcycle snatched the purse of a lady identified as Pushpa Devi, wife of Ashok Kumar, a resident of Billawar in Digiana area. The lady had visited the house of her relative in Digiana area, when the incident took place.
The accused managed their escape from the spot as there was no cop deployed in the area when incident took place.
As per the complaint lodged by the lady, the purse contains Rs 5,000 cash, ATM card and some credentials.
Acting over the complaint, a case has been registered at Satwari police station and manhunt has been launched to nab the accused.
