Pvt Schools Association discusses PF withdrawal issue with Commissioner

JAMMU, June 12: Members of central executive body of the J&K Private Schools Association today called on Regional PF Commissioner Rizwan Uddin and discussed with him the teething problems being faced by the serving employees or those who have left the schools in withdrawal of their contribution in the Employee Provident Fund Organization.
While speaking, members said that although department has launched the Nidhi Aapke Nikat outreach and awareness program for the stakeholders of the UTs of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh with the theme for the final PF withdrawal, transfer of PF Accounts, etc, people are still facing problems.
“The employees who had contributed for more than 20 years in the erstwhile State are still deprived of their consolidated passbook. Issues and problems faced by them have been brought in the notice of the officials but till date there is no UAN activation, Bank & Aadhaar seeding etc,” they said.
Members demanded immediate consolidated passbook of all in-service employees and also those who have left job and whose contribution is still lying pending in the J&K Employees Provident Fund of erstwhile State.
Rizwan Uddin, Regional P F Commissioner-I, J& K and Ladakh, gave a patient hearing and promised to mitigate the problems of all employers and their employees within one month.
The JKPSA delegation comprised of Kamal Gupta (President JKPSA), Ajay Gupta (General Secretary , Deepak Handa (District President Jammu urban) and Ram Parkash (District President Udhampur).
