JAMMU, Dec 23: Principal Secretary, Public Works (R&B) Department today appointed an enquiry officer to probe the allegations of laxity in discharge of duties leveled against Tejinder Singh Soodan, Incharge Executive Engineer (Mechanical) Hospital Division, MED Jammu, after a patient was died in Ward Number 3 of GMC Jammu during the night of Sept 22, 2020 due to shortage of oxygen.
“Sanction is hereby accorded to the appointment of Gagan Jyoti, Chief Engineer, MED Jammu, as enquiry officer in order to conduct preliminary enquiry into the allegations leveled against Tejinder Singh Soodan, Incharge Executive Engineer (Mechanical) Hospital Division, MED Jammu, by Health and Medical Education Department, while discharging his official duties,” said an order issued by Shailendra Kumar, Principal Secretary, Public Works (R&B) Department.
As per the order, the Inquiry Officer shall submit his report/findings to the Administrative Department within 15 days from the date of issuance of the order.
