Poonch, Apr 1: State President J&K Pradesh Youth Congress Shahnawaz Choudhary had a series of public meetings at various places in Surankote Assembly Constituency including Fazlabad, Bafliaz, Mastan Darah & Praba panchayats in support of Congress-NC candidate Madan Lal Sharma.
Addressing the people, Shahnawaz said that Congress is the only political party that has given rights to the people. Congress has fought for the rights of people during independence struggle and post independence period.
Shahnawaz said Congress party has played a pivotal role in empowering Panchayats and implementing 73rd Amend-ment in the State. He said that Madan Lal Sharma has supported the empowerment of common people of the State. He said Madan Lal Sharma has a good record in leadership and his credibility is tested. He appealed the youth, students and the people to vote for Congress.
