JAMMU, Dec 4: Pradesh Youth Congress (PYC) today extended its support to selected warden candidates who have been on hunger strike for last two days.
State president, Youth Congress, Shahnawaz Choudhary, accompanied by president, Udhampur- Doda, Lok Sabha, Advocate Pankaj Basotra and Romi Sharma AYC general secretary, Hiranagar, personally visited the venue of the strike and endorsed their support to the agitating selected warden candidates.
Extending their support, Choudhary said that State’s Home Department is playing with the future of these candidates. Choudhary gave ultimatum to the concerned officials that if the selection list of the wardens is not published in few days the activists of Youth Congress will come on road in their support.
He also warned the Home Commissioner to do justice with the selected candidates otherwise they will go for agitation and gherao the Home Commissioner. Choudhary also sought the immediate intervention of Chief Minister in this matter.
