JAMMU, June 27: Pradesh Youth Congress president Pranav Shagotra has reconstituted the PYC and four Lok Sabha Youth Congress Committees by elevating the elected office bearers and eligible candidates.
Satish Sharma, Pankaj Basotra, Naseer Ahmed Mir, Thupstan Angchuk, Imtiyaz Parray and Paramjeet Singh have been nominated as general secretary of PYC while Balbir Singh and Rajan Sharma were nominated as State secretary.
For the Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha Youth Congress Committee, Charanjeet Singh was nominated as president and Kamaljeet Singh as the vice-president. Ricky Dalotra, Paramjeet Singh, Anoop Gupta, Shabir Kohli, Zaheer Abbas, Hoshiar Singh Chib alias Tony, Sandeep Dogra alias Sonu, Mohd Arif alias Arif Jatt and Aijaz Choudhary have been nominated as general secretary of the Lok Sabha Committee while Lucky Singh, Sachin Gupta, Ankit Sood and Majot Singh have been given the post of secretary.
Similarly for the Udhampur-Doda Lok Sabha Committee, Vinay Sharma has been nominated as president and Rashid Malik as vice-president. Rashid Mugal Latief, Rajeev Gupta, Pankaj Sharma, Varun Magotra and Ashwini Sharma have been nominated as general secretary while Varun Magotra and Ramneek Singh have been given the post of secretary.
For the Lok Sabha Committee Anantnag, Shabir Rather, Zaheer Ahmad Mir, Khursheed Ahmed and Mohd Iqbal Dar have been nominated as general secretary while for the Lok Sabha Committee Srinagar, Gulzar Ahmed Wani, Muzaffar Ah Parray, Mehraj-ud-Din and Waseem Ah Sofi are the general secretaries.
Chetan Wanchoo, Sandeep Singh Rissam and Huma Gul have been appointed as the State spokespersons.
The new office bearers were announced after approval of AIYC incharge Suraj Hegde, AIYC president Amrinder Singh Raja and secretary incharge J&K, Uma Shanker Pandey.
