JAMMU, Mar 14: ‘Nai Udaan’, a collection of work of 19 writers under one cover, was released here today by Qalamkaar- an international literary organization.
Former MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia was chief guest on the occasion and he along with other dignitaries released the book.
Dr Arvinder Singh Amn, Additional Secretary, J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, presided over the event while Prof Veena Gupta, former HoD Dogri in Jammu University was the guest of honour and social activist Dr Savita Chib was the special guest.
Anu Atri Yaad, president of Qalamkaar, presented a welcome address and threw light on activities of the literary organization. He informed that the book will be made available at all the book stores very soon.
Ramesh Marhatha, senior announcer All India Radio was the stage secretary while the vote of thanks was presented by Varun Veer, general secretary Qalamkaar.
