DOHA, Jan 27: Israeli authorities will allow displaced Palestinians to begin returning from the southern Gaza Strip to their residential areas in the northern enclave starting Monday morning in exchange for an agreement to release three Israeli hostages by Friday and another three on Saturday, Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesman Majed Al Ansari said.
“In return, the Israeli authorities will allow, starting tomorrow morning, Monday, the return of displaced citizens in the Gaza Strip from the south to the northern areas of the Strip, and will also hand over a list of the names of 400 people who have been arrested since October 7, 2023, every Sunday in the first phase,” he said on X.
