JAMMU, Dec 23: BJP leader and Jammu District convenor of Sanskriti Art and Culture Cell, Sahil Mahajan today released Qawali album titled ‘Wo Kaam Masiha Kar Baithe’ in a function, here today.
While launching the album, the BJP leader said that execution of a comprehensive plan to preserve and promote the rich cultural heritage of Jammu and Kashmir is the need of the hour and to realize this dream the Government should rope in distinguished artists and literary personalities to create avenues.
He laid emphasis on promoting Dogri language by inspiring the youth to make use of this language on a day to day basis without letting in the feeling of inferiority complex.
Sahil Mahajan congratulated producer Bittu Khorkra and praised the artists comprising singer Rishav Khokra for coming up with the Qawali album. The music of the album has been composed by Chandan Jassu, while the album was directed by Sonu Tenja.
