Question not listed in House being circulated among people: NC MLAs

Rather says matter will be looked into

JAMMU, Mar 17: National Conference MLAs today voiced concern over leakage of a question along with the Government reply even before it was listed in the Assembly prompting Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather to assure that the issue will be looked into.
The issue was raised by NC MLA Salman Sagar during Zero Hour in the Legislative Assembly.

“The question and its reply are being distributed among the people and being pasted on walls. The issue should be taken very seriously,” Sagar said, adding some political party workers are also exploiting the issue.
Another NC MLA from Srinagar Shamim Firdous joined the issue saying this is breach of trust that the question is being pasted in Dal lake peripheries even when it has not been listed in the House.
Disclosing that the question pertained to Lakes and Water Development Authority, she wanted to know how the department could dare to do this.
Another NC MLA Nazir Gurezi too joined the issue saying it is being circulated among the people.
Legislative Assembly Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather assured the agitated MLAs that the issue will be looked into.
