UDHAMPUR, Sept 24: The District Jail authorities Udhampur, organized a quiz contest for the inmates of the jail here.
The quiz was based on the general knowledge about the states of India, their capitals, state districts, Chief Minister, Governor etc. The programme was conducted under the over all supervision of Jail Superintendent Harish Kotwal. Rajesh Sharma, deputed from Education department was the quiz master. Cultural items were also presented after the quiz program. Teachers Ishtiaq Ahmed and Bodh Raj also assisted.
Mohd Aslam and Nawaz Sharief from Team B secured first position, Dheeraj Kumar and Bilal Ahmed from Team C attained second place while Mohd Saleem and Bhushan Kumar from Team A bagged third place. Jail Superintendent gave away the prizes to the winners.
