JAMMU, Sept 4: Government today appointed JKAS officer Dr Shujaat Ahmad Qureshi as the ex-officio member of the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory Haj Committee.
As per a notification issued by Dr Piyush Singla, Secretary to the Government, Dr Shujaat Ahmad Qureshi, Executive Officer, J&K Haj Committee has been appointed as the ex-officio member of the J&K UT Haj Committee in place of Dr Abdul Salam Mir.
Further, it has been ordered that Qureshi shall hold the position of ex-officio member till he is holding the position of Executive Officer of the J&K Haj Committee.
