LOS ANGELES, Sept 8: Actress Rachel McAdams is reportedly in talks with the makers of Emmy-winner ‘True Detective’ to star as female lead in its second season.
McAdams, 35, is being considered for the role of a ‘no nonsense sheriff’, reported Variety.
Reports suggest there will be four lead parts, three of which are male. If McAdams joins the show she may be working alongside Colin Farrell, Taylor Kitsch and Vince Vaughn, who are all apparently in final negotiations with the show’s producers.
The actress is reportedly contending against Elisabeth Moss (‘Mad Men’) and Michelle Forbes (‘The Killing’) for the said part. (PTI)
