Radio Sharda holds symposium on Science for Women

JAMMU, Mar 23: A symposium on Science for Women was held at Radio Sharda here, today under the leadership of Dr Jyoti Hak, a well known Gynaecologist. It was attended by members and a team of ladies and Founder Director Radio Sharda Ramesh Hangloo.
During the symposium Dr Joyti said the team has successfully completed the project and made 366 Radio documentaries on the health and nutrition of women. She said it has proved the purpose to educate the women folk and aware them about health and hygiene besides financial help to the ladies working for the project.
Neelam Razdan Wali Project Coordinator earlier gave details of the project and said almost 600 ladies participated directly or indirectly by giving their opinions and conducting programmes. She said 100 experts including 85 renowned doctors gave specialised talks on different subjects.
Later, Ramesh Hangloo Founder Director and Assistant Chairman of Committee complimented all the participants for making 366 documentaries. He said the experience has proved that the women of our community have lot of talent and they can work with enthusiasm if given opportunity.
He also complemented the Department of Science and Technology GoI for such kind of programmes. Sarita Raina and Sujata Phalwan sang a song which depicted that if women are strong entire community is strong.
