JAMMU, Apr 28: Cautioning the people about the BJP’s win, senior vice president J&K Pradesh Congress Committee, former Minister and Member AICC Abdul Gani Vakil today said that if Narendra Modi becomes the Prime Minister, it will be disastrous and will never prove fruitful or in the interest of the country at any stage.
Vakil was addressing party workers meetings in Tangmulla, Chatoosa and several other villages of Rafiabad which were organized to ensure support for coalition candidate.
He reiterated that for future Rahul Gandhi is a perfect choice for the post of Prime Minister as he is a person of calm and composed nature moreover his bright ideas will definitely make India a shining country.
Former Minister, while laminating PDP’s so called self rule proposal a confused document prepared by this party overnight to save its grace, said that it represents individualistic thoughts either conceived or thieved to manipulate the political environment with sole aim to grab power. PDP leadership has failed till today to explain the concept of self-rule to the people of this State. He said that individualistic yearnings has destroyed nations but collective wisdom on the other hand has not only nourished and developed them but resulted in welfare and upliftment of common masses.
He asked people to evaluate and analyze the tactics of PDP which leaves no stone unturned to show pseudo concern about sufferings of people but in reality propagates borrowed ideas of self rule.
Others who addressed the meetings include senior Congress leaders Mohammad Amin Khan Kutleri, Ghulam Nabi Shah, Haji Mohammad Afzal Khan, Brij Nath Nehru and Tariq Ahmad Mir.
