Discusses investment potential in J&K

JAMMU, Oct 10: Rahul Sahai, Chairman of PHDCCI Jammu Chapter and a prominent industrialist, recently visited the Czech Republic, where he held a key meeting with Indian Ambassador Raveesh Kumar and members of an international delegation.
A statement said that the meeting, organized by the Czech Embassy, aimed to explore opportunities for collaboration between India and the Czech Republic.
During the discussions, Sahai highlighted the success of the New Central Sector Scheme (NCSS) package introduced by the Indian Government for Jammu & Kashmir.
He emphasized the growing investment interest in the region, attributing it to the positive impact of the NCSS.
“The package is driving significant change, and investors are showing strong confidence in Jammu & Kashmir’s growth potential,” Sahai remarked.
The international delegation, which included industry leaders from India and the Czech Republic, discussed potential cooperation in manufacturing and infrastructure sectors, with a special focus on Jammu & Kashmir as an emerging investment destination.
Notable attendees included Eva Kopecka from the Czech Embassy, Major Guneet Chaudhary, Honorary Consul of the Czech Embassy, Hari Om Verma of Ramani Precision Machines Pvt Ltd, Madan Gopal Goel and Amit Goel of CRG Industries, and representatives from Sahai Group, Dawar Cements Pvt Ltd, and Rockpeckers Pvt Ltd.
Sahai also invited Czech companies to explore technology collaborations with small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Jammu & Kashmir, encouraging them to visit the region through the facilitation of the Indian Ambassador.
