JAMMU, Oct 27: Councillor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Rahul Kumar here today started road blacktopping work in Gandhi Nagar area of his Ward number 20.
Speaking on the occasion, Rahul Kumar said that Ward 20 has witnessed massive developments in the last few years and now the area has cemented lanes, blacktopped roads, upgraded parks with open air gyms etc.
He assured the people of his Ward to make the area a model one by providing all the basic amenities to the public.
The JMC Councillor also said that several developmental projects are still in pipeline which would be carried out in future in a phased manner for the welfare of Ward residents.
He appealed to the Ward residents to bring into his notice if they find any sub-standard execution in developmental works in the area.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Rikki Gupta, State Executive Member; District Secretary, Robin Chandan; District Publicity Secretary, Sandeep Gupta; Ward President, Satbir Singh; Vijay Verma, senior leader; Sunil Jain, Rampal Gupta and others.
