SRINAGAR : The rail service between Baramulla to Banihal was suspended yet again due to heavy snowfall. Official sources said there was moderate to heavy snowfall in the Kashmir valley and parts of Jammu region since last evening.
They said for precautionary measure the service from Baramulla in north Kashmir to Banihal in Jammu region through Srinagar, Badgam, Pulwama, Anantnag and Kulgam was suspended due to moderate to heavy snowfall on the track.
However, one train operated between Badgam and Baramulla in the morning.
This was the third time the service was suspended during the past one month.
